Who we are, the “Institutional Research Office”?
We are responsible for ‘Institutional Research’ at Hitotsubashi University, i.e. the analysis and visualisation of research activities and research performance. A URA is engaged in research data analysis, as well as organising events and promoting research outcomes of HU researchers.
What is URA?
URA stands for University Research Administrator. The scope of URAs’ work varies depending on universities and research institutes, but in general, URAs are engaged in tasks related to the promotion of research activities, analysis of research outputs, support for researchers, and application of research outcomes.
